Hello, I'm Cory Kassmeier.

     I was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, and I currently reside in Nashville, Tennessee. My passion for audio started back in high school when my mother bought me a beginner all-in-one studio from Guitar Center for Christmas. It wasn't very intuitive, but it didn't keep me from staying up all night trying to figure out how everything worked. Through trial and error, I discovered there's so much more to learn about audio, and I was determined to make it my career. 

     In 2017, I attended Iowa Western Community College to study audio engineering where I received my associate's degree two years later with high honors. While attending college, I had the opportunity to take a trip to Nashville, Tennessee, to tour the world-famous Blackbird Studio and their school, The Blackbird Academy.

     I attended and graduated from The Blackbird Academy where I found my calling in recording and mixing music. The skills I've acquired along the way allow me to help capture and craft your sound as you've envisioned. My goal is to deliver the highest quality product possible.
